WHAT IS A "RESTUARAUNT MANAGEMENT POS SYSTEM" ?
Simply put, a POS or Point of Sale
system for a restaurant is a network of specialized workstation computers,
set up in your restaurant and custom programmed with your menu, which are
accessed by your servers and counter staff, to place and track orders,
efficiently, while your establishment is in production. These workstations
are Touch Screen enabled and send orders, live, to designated printers or
displays, in your kitchen or other prep areas. The POS system maintains
these "open" orders until your customer has finished their meal and then

As far as what needs to be installed, a POS system consists of,
X number of touch screen workstations, receipt printers at each workstation,
credit card swipes at each workstation, X number of cash draws, remote
printers in the kitchen and other prep areas, a back office workstation PC,
and a back office SERVER PC. You will also need to have us install Cat 5
cabling and network connectivity components so that all this equipment can
communicate with each other. You may also want to discuss

Camera Placement with us at this time since we will be running cables and
can easily run camera cables along with the POS cables. We can offer you a
considerable savings if you purchase our Network Security Camera Package
along with your POS system. There are also other options available such as
Caller ID to help build your customer database as your system operates and
Kitchen Order Display Screens to work in conjunction with or instead of
Kitchen printers. You will also need to have a Broad Band Connection to the
internet installed by your local provider so you can process credit cards
and remotely access your system from home.
